Kaji Sherpa is a founding member and an experienced trekking, tour, and climbing guide at High Valley Treks & Expedition. Kaji’s journey in the trekking industry began in 1991, right after finishing high school, marking the start of a remarkable career in Nepal’s tourism and mountaineering sector. His early years were filled with legendary expeditions, including serving as base camp staff during the 1992 Italian Everest Expedition, followed by multiple successful climbs of Ama Dablam, Karta Ri, and Choyu (from the Tibet side).

Over the years, Kaji has guided some of the most popular trekking routes and peak climbs in Nepal, showcasing his deep expertise in high-altitude trekking and mountaineering. He spent seven years working with Nepal Himal Treks as a guide, which further honed his leadership and technical skills. In 2000, Kaji completed the Trekking Guide Training certified by the Ministry of Tourism & Civil Aviation of Nepal, and in 2001-2002, he participated in Alpine Training in Austria, focusing on first aid, rock and ice climbing, and modern mountain rescue techniques. This training was conducted by authorized Austrian mountain guides, which also included lessons on the preservation of nature and the environment.

Kaji’s international experience includes travels to countries such as Austria, Germany, Tibet, India, and Afghanistan, which have enriched his global perspective on mountaineering and trekking. His passion for the mountains and dedication to providing safe and enriching experiences for trekkers make him a highly respected figure in the Nepalese tourism industry.

Pasang Kaji Sherpa (P.K.) is a highly experienced high-altitude climber and Sherpa guide, proudly serving as a key team member of High Valley Treks & Expedition. With an impressive record of over 222 successful summit ascents, Pasang Kaji has led expeditions to some of Nepal’s most renowned peaks, including Island Peak (6,000m), Lobuche Peak, Ama Dablam, Mera Peak, Dhampus Peak, and several others across the Himalayan range.

Known for his exceptional mountaineering skills and leadership at high altitude, P.K. brings years of practical experience to every expedition, ensuring safety, success, and a memorable journey for climbers. His extensive training includes Ice Climbing and Rescue Training organized by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), as well as Trekking Guide Training certified by the Ministry of Tourism & Civil Aviation of Nepal.

Pasang Kaji’s deep knowledge of Himalayan terrain, technical climbing ability, and calm presence under pressure make him a trusted guide among both novice trekkers and seasoned mountaineers. His dedication and passion for the mountains continue to be a cornerstone of High Valley Treks & Expedition’s success.

Lopsang Sherpa is a licensed professional trekking and mountain guide from Bupsa, Solukhumbu, Nepal, located in the Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality. Born in 2057/10/03 (Nepali Calendar), he has over six years of trekking experience, including four years as a certified guide (License No. 18768) and two years as an assistant guide. Coming from a family deeply involved in the tourism industry, Lopsang was introduced to the world of guiding early on and has developed a strong foundation in Himalayan trekking and cultural travel.

Fluent in Sherpa and Nepali, with basic communication skills in French and German, Lopsang brings both local insight and international awareness to his work. His professionalism and adaptability have allowed him to successfully lead treks for clients from around the world. He has also traveled to Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, Amsterdam, Dubai, and Qatar, gaining broader cultural exposure and experience.

Lopsang is known for his deep knowledge of mountain trails, commitment to safety, and warm hospitality. Whether guiding high-altitude treks or sharing stories of Sherpa heritage, he ensures every journey is meaningful, memorable, and respectful of local culture and nature.
