Bokta Peak (6143m) is the most popular trekking peak in Kanchenjunga region, Mountaineering Association Nepal declared the Mt. Bokta peak in group a category climbing peak. Main attraction of Bokta peak is panoramic views of Himalayan peak like Mt. Kanchenjunga 8586m, Jahnu or Kumbhakarana 7710m, Dhormo peak 6850m, Nupchu 6690m etc. Bokta peak is situated at Kanchenjunga Himalayan range in Kanchenjunga region at Taplejung District, Nepal, Located eastern part of Nepal near the third highest peak of the world Mt. Kanchenjunga 8586m.
Bokta peak offers fantastic Himalayan views of eastern part of Nepal, including third highest mountain of the world. Rarely climbed peak Bokta first climbing permit issued in 2002 by Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). Bokta peak is challenging and adventurous climbing peak of Nepal. Bokta peak climbing is suitable for those climbers who seeking thrilling adventure in less crowded part of the Himalayan range. Previous climbing experience and good physical fitness is required for Bokta peak climbing.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1334m, our airport representative will transfer to hotel, Kanchenjunga trekking & Bokta peak climbing briefing with officially arrangements. overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 02: Flight to Badrapur and same day Drive to Ilam stay on Hotel
Day 03: After breakfast, we drive to, Suketar 1824m overnight at Hotel
Day 04: Trek Suketar to Chirwa 1190m walk approximately 5-6 hours
Day 05: Trek Chirwa to Sakathum 1640m walk approximately 5-6 hours
Day 06: Trek Sakathum to Amjilosa 2490m walk approximately 5-6 hours
Day 07: Trek Amjilosa to Gyabla 2730m walk approximately 5-6 hours
Day 08: Trek Gyabla to Ghunsa 3430m walk approximately 5-6 hours
Day 09: Acclimatization day at Ghunsa
Day 10: Ghunsa to Khambachen walk approximately 4-5 hours
Day 11: Khambachen to Lhonak 4790m walk approximately 4-5 hours
Day 12: Lhonak stay and Day trip to Pang pema basecamp
Day 13: Lonak to Gunsa over night at Hotel
Day 14: Gunsa trek to Sinion/ selele Phedi 3546m Overnight at Tented Camp
Day 15: Sinion /selele phedi via Selele pass 4854m trek to Tseram 3870m Overnight at Tented Camp.
Day 16: Tseram trek to Ramche 4620m, walk approximately 4-5 hours
Day 17: Ramche trek to Bokta peak base camp 5123m overnight at tent
Day 18: Early in the morning , our climbing guide will take you for summit the Bokta peak 6143m, and return to the Bokta peak base camp. Overnight at Bokta peak base camp
Day 19: Spare day for climbing in case of bad weather. During this day , if incase of difficult for summit the peak cause of the weather then our guide will take to you for re-summit the Bokta peak and back to tseram. overnight at tented Camp. walk approximately 5-6 hours
Day 20: Tseram to Yamphuding walk approximately 5-6 hours
Day 21: Yamphudin to Amphukhola lodge , walk approximately 5-6 hours
Day 22: Drive Amphu khola to badarapoor overnight at Hotel
Day 23: early in the morning flight to Kathmandu
Day 24: flght back to the destination
Note: The itinerary can be customized according to your duration of the holiday. Similarly, the hotel can be upgraded or downgraded depending on your requirement.
